In 1999, the NABA experienced exceptional growth with 128 events sanctioned in 17 different states throughout the Midwest and Southest with $589,573.30 paid out in prize money. The 17-year-old Luke Snyder, Raymore, MO, set record total earnings of $34,766.55 as the 1999 NABA Champion, and Mike Collins (98 Champion) of Haskell, OK, won $32,156.44 finishing as reserve champion. As the 1999 NABA finals with $20,000 added money, Joe Hicks of Okmulgee, OK won the finals average with earnings of $6,238.00 plus earned Rookie of the Year honors.
